THERE ARE NO EXISTING DWELLINGS ON THE PROPERTY RIGHT NOW.

MRS. ROBINSON IS THE ORIGINAL OWNER OF THE EASEMENT.

THEY ARE LOOKING TO EXPLORE RENEWABLE ENERGY OPTIONS BY CONSTRUCTING CONSTRUCTING AN ANAEROBIC DIGESTER ON THEIR FARM.

ANAEROBIC DIGESTION IS A WELL KNOWN PROCESS WHERE WASTE BREAKS DOWN AND PRODUCES BIO GAS IN THE FORM OF METHANE, WHICH CAN BE RECOVERED AND CLEANED FOR FOR USE IN VARIOUS FORMS. AND AFTER SPEAKING WITH HANNAH TURNER, WHO IS THE LEAD ADMINISTRATOR AT MOUTH, THE STATE OFFICE IT APPEARS THAT THE REQUEST MEETS THE CRITERIA CRITERIA TO BE CONSIDERED BY THE BOARD. SO I WILL GO AHEAD AND LET MR. SCHIFF EXPLAIN WHAT HE'S WANTING TO DO TO THE BOARD AND IF THEY HAVE ANY QUESTIONS.

OKAY. WELL, IF THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE FAMILIAR WITH THE SITE, WE HAVE BEEF CATTLE THERE, ABOUT 3000 BEEF CATTLE PRODUCING WASTE EVERY DAY.

AND WE'RE LOOKING TO CREATE A BETTER USE OF THAT, OF THAT PRODUCT AND THEN MAKE IT MORE USER FRIENDLY PRODUCT FOR LAND APPLICATION. THE BIO THE ANAEROBIC DIGESTER WOULD BE USED TO PRODUCE METHANE.

SOME OF THAT METHANE WOULD BE USED TO OPERATE A A GENERATOR TO PRODUCE ELECTRIC.

AND THEN SOME OF IT WILL BE USED FOR METHANE TO REPLACE PROPANE NATURAL GAS.

OUR GOAL WOULD BE WE ARE CURRENTLY STEAM FLAKING THE GRAIN THAT'S FED TO THE CATTLE IN DELAWARE USING PROPANE OR NATURAL GAS.

ACTUALLY, WE WOULD USE THE METHANE TO RUN THAT BOILER THAT PRODUCES THE STEAM, PRODUCES THE FEED.

AND AND AS WE BUILD A PROGRAM, IF THERE'S EXTRA METHANE, LOOK INTO TRUCKS TO BURN IT ALL IN AN EFFORT TO CREATE CARBON CREDITS.

WE WE DO BUSINESS BOTH IN OUR GRAIN BUSINESS AND IN OUR LIVESTOCK BUSINESS WITH LARGE COMPANIES.

MARS FOODS, CARGILL'S.

AND THEY'RE ALL LOOKING FOR CARBON CREDITS FROM THE FROM THEIR CUSTOMER BASE.

SO WE'RE TRYING TO REMAIN COMPETITIVE IN THAT ENVIRONMENT.

SO THAT'S THE BASICS OF IT.

WOULD YOU BE SELLING ANY OF THIS OR WOULD YOU BE USING IT ALL YOURSELF? THE ENERGY.

OUR GOAL IS TO USE ALL DOWN HERE.

REALLY, AT THAT FARM, THERE'S NOT A METHOD TO MARKET THE ENERGY.

WE DO STORE DEATH IN OUR DELAWARE FEED YARD AND LAND APPLY THAT RIGHT.

YEAH. BUT WE ARE WE ARE NOT FALLING UNDER ALL THAT CHAOS THAT YOU'RE, YOU'RE HEARING ABOUT.

DO YOU PLAN ON DOING THAT FOR THE DIGESTER? THERE IS THE POSSIBILITY OF INTRODUCING THAT AT SOME MINOR LEVEL.

ALSO SOME PRODUCT YOU HAVE TO BRING IN SOME SUGAR PRODUCT.

AND THAT COMES FROM LIKE A BREWERY TYPE ENVIRONMENT.

SO IT'S A MIXTURE OF PRODUCTS THAT MAKES THE DIGESTION MOST EFFICIENT.

SO CAN YOU RUN THE DIGESTER JUST ON THE COW MANURE ALONE, OR IS IT THE MOST EFFICIENT WAY TO BRING IN SOME EXTRA MATERIAL TO TO DO THAT? I'M NOT SURE.

WE'RE WORKING THROUGH THOSE NUMBERS TO DETERMINE WHETHER JUST THE STEER MANURE COULD PRODUCE ENOUGH TO CREATE AN ENERGY SUPPLY.

THAT'S WORTH TRYING TO.

YEAH. THE ONLY REASON I'M ASKING, BECAUSE I'M NOT SURE IF YOU'RE AWARE OR NOT, OR IF THIS BOARD IS AWARE OF THE MORATORIUM THAT THE COMMISSIONER HAS PLACED ON FOOD WASTE, RESIDUAL STORAGE AND DAF STORAGE.

CURRENTLY, THERE'S A MORATORIUM IN EFFECT.

THAT MORATORIUM IS ON ONE PARTICULAR OPERATOR, NOT ON THE COUNTY.

WELL, IT'S IT'S NOT PARTICULARLY OUTLINED TO BE ON ONE OPERATOR, BUT IT IS.

WE'RE ACTIVELY WORKING ON MAKING SOME MODIFICATIONS TO THAT, WHICH WILL MORE THAN LIKELY BE INTRODUCED ON TUESDAY AT THE COMMISSIONERS COMMISSIONER'S MEETING, BUT I JUST WANTED TO VERIFY WHAT YOUR THOUGHTS ARE ON ON USING DAF HERE ON THIS SITE, BECAUSE, AGAIN, WE ARE UNDER A MORATORIUM FOR THAT.

IT'S A 60 DAY MORATORIUM.

SO WE'RE LOOKING AT MAYBE DOING SOME REGULATIONS, MAYBE POSSIBLY MODIFYING THE RESOLUTION OR EVEN ADOPTING NEW, NEW RESOLUTIONS.

SO WE'RE ACTIVELY WORKING WITH MDA AND MDA TO, TO COME UP WITH SOME SOLUTIONS.

SO I HAVEN'T HAD DIRECT CONVERSATIONS WITH, WITH MOUTH LIKE BETH HAS.

BUT I THINK IT'S BOARD DEFINITELY NEEDS TO CONSIDER IF THAT'S, YOU KNOW, ON THE TABLE FOR LATER ON DOWN THE ROAD.

YOU CAN ALWAYS MODIFY THE OPERATION TO DO THAT.

BUT CURRENTLY WE JUST DON'T HAVE REGULATIONS TO TO ALLOW IT.

SO I MEAN, IF YOU CAN RUN THE DIGESTER JUST ON MANURE ALONE, THEN THAT'S SOMETHING THAT YOU COULD YOU COULD DO, YOU KNOW, ON SITE USE.

WE'VE HAD CONVERSATIONS WITH JEFF ANSEL FROM SCOTTSDALE SOLUTIONS ABOUT WHAT YOU WANTED TO DO OUT THERE.

AND, YOU KNOW, OBVIOUSLY PRODUCING ENERGY ON SITE, USING IT ON SITE, NOT, YOU KNOW, MARKETING FOR OFF SITE ENERGY USE.

THAT WOULD BE AN ACCESSORY TO YOUR FARM OPERATION AND WOULD BE ALLOWED TO DO THAT.

BUT NOT NOT CURRENTLY WITH, WITH DAFF OR ANY OTHER FOOD RESIDUALS.

SO WE'LL BRING THAT UP TO THE BOARD.

AND HANNAH FROM AL STATED THAT IF SINCE THE COUNTY HAS A MORATORIUM ON THAT THEN THIS AND IF YOU'RE GOING TO USE THAT CURRENT NOW WITH THIS PLAN, THEN IT CANNOT GO IN FRONT OF THE BOARD WITH UNTIL THAT IS THE MORATORIUM IS LIFTED JUST TO MAKE YOU ALL AWARE OF THAT AS WELL.

OKAY. SO I GUESS THE QUESTION IS LIKE, ARE YOU GOING TO GO AHEAD? AND SO YOU'RE NOT GOING TO DO DAF CURRENTLY AS IT'S RIGHT NOW? I GUESS THAT'S THAT'S THE MAIN QUESTION.
